Neushop Ingraham Building
Neushop at the Ingraham Building is a concept space for design objects and encounters located within a historic interior by the office of Schultz and Weaver. The project was an exercise in slowly peeling back layers of aggressive intervention progressively built atop one another in the latter half of the twentieth century, in an effort to reveal and stabilize the 1920’s ruin that remained below. As an archaeology of sorts, the project simply asked: what is the minimum essential that we need to record, remove or conserve to get at the appearance of a genuine truth?
